I'll admit, I've been kinda fasinated by this woman. I'm somewhat familiar with her art, work and headlines from at least the past few months. I can't help but feel that she's been singled out and scapegoated. I don't know if it's because the world finds it hard to believe that she's a legitimate business woman, artist and diplomat that is very involved in her non-profits or if the journos just find her easy to romantisize (she is, isn't she?) and want to utilize the traffic from any bit of negativity that they can fabricate.

The reason that I wanted to mention this here on NG, is moreso because I feel that her varied talents and endeavors would be more appreciated among the users who create multimedia here. She has had a known stage name for music, a fashion and jewelry line and other endeavors of other industries.

Now it seems all of her assets are being stripped, for unethical business practices or what-not. Also her associates are being persecuted by the regime. The media seems to be portraying her in any negative way that they can find, her own media outlets are not only closed but I think it's apparent that anything positive about her is censored.

I'm usually not very political or motivated to follow such things in the mainstream media but I just can't help but feel kinda bad for her and her associates. I think if she is anything like she claims to be then the journos and the regime should feel bad for what they have done. I'm not even sure who we could compare someone like her to? Is there any other diplomat who is expressive, creative, involved in the arts and has such a (feminine?) flair in the rigid world of business and politics? Couldn't the world benifit from having someone like that on it? Plus, her hands are not idle, she creates. I respect that..

A man I respect once told that you have to be at lest a little bit corrupt to run your own business. It can be a nessacary evil when ya feel that ya have to do it but he says that one should always keep most of their morals and stay ethical besides that. I'm not talking about fucking people but little occaisional things, such as maybe moving an expense up a few days so it shows on next months budget..little stuff like that.

What really bothers me is beyond the fact that I believe that she's been unfairly scapegoated and villified, it seems that the world is ready to kick her when she's down after her defenses are gone and her losses. I find most of what she's accused of to be quite trivial, if not very hard to believe.

I'm not insisting that everyone agree with me but it's something to think about. I come from the bottom and it's easy to stereotype someone who is not but I've been mulling this over and I just wanted to say speak my mind and have said my peace.
