I was having one of those revelations while smoking a toasted coffee n' chocalate flavored cigar. Lulled by the haze of flavored tobacco and the buzz of Mercury's snores, I could see dreams forming from the ashes of an empty deck.  I was absorbed into a timeless realm of illusion that seemed to root and weave in and out of reality.

Something kinda clicked in my head, then a little green spider bit me in the back of the skull as I ruffled my braid. It fell down my face and rolled down past my pocket. As it rolled by my eye, I noticed it had a pretty fat ass.

So that was the first time I remember getting a spider bite on the head like that. I can't help but think that it's kinda symbolic. My skull was envenomed. I decided afterwards to take a walk..if nothing else it would keep me from clawing a hole in my mane. It would go numb and then throb feel like a bee sting. A numbing calm then I'd feel energy surge up my spine.

Hot and Cold, Hot and Cold

Time just seemed to stop and go..

As I walked, it was like I could still feel venom creeping up on me. My skull felt like it was radiating, I'd go from slightly feverish (not really unpleasant) to cold chills, enough to lift the fur on my arms straight up. Time would seem to stop for a while, like my mind was racing and my pace was very slow, then I melt back to a warm sweat.

When I first started writing this it felt like my brain was on fire. Now it's more like a smoldering pinhole in my head that slightly throbs every now and again. Visions have faded. Spiders are strange creatures but I'm kinda fascinated and fond of them. All and all, it may sound a little odd but I found it to be a somewhat enlightening experience.

Hopefully I don't wake up by clawing a hole in my head with some kinda death boner going on..

I'll admit, I've been kinda fasinated by this woman. I'm somewhat familiar with her art, work and headlines from at least the past few months. I can't help but feel that she's been singled out and scapegoated. I don't know if it's because the world finds it hard to believe that she's a legitimate business woman, artist and diplomat that is very involved in her non-profits or if the journos just find her easy to romantisize (she is, isn't she?) and want to utilize the traffic from any bit of negativity that they can fabricate.

The reason that I wanted to mention this here on NG, is moreso because I feel that her varied talents and endeavors would be more appreciated among the users who create multimedia here. She has had a known stage name for music, a fashion and jewelry line and other endeavors of other industries.

Now it seems all of her assets are being stripped, for unethical business practices or what-not. Also her associates are being persecuted by the regime. The media seems to be portraying her in any negative way that they can find, her own media outlets are not only closed but I think it's apparent that anything positive about her is censored.

I'm usually not very political or motivated to follow such things in the mainstream media but I just can't help but feel kinda bad for her and her associates. I think if she is anything like she claims to be then the journos and the regime should feel bad for what they have done. I'm not even sure who we could compare someone like her to? Is there any other diplomat who is expressive, creative, involved in the arts and has such a (feminine?) flair in the rigid world of business and politics? Couldn't the world benifit from having someone like that on it? Plus, her hands are not idle, she creates. I respect that..

A man I respect once told that you have to be at lest a little bit corrupt to run your own business. It can be a nessacary evil when ya feel that ya have to do it but he says that one should always keep most of their morals and stay ethical besides that. I'm not talking about fucking people but little occaisional things, such as maybe moving an expense up a few days so it shows on next months budget..little stuff like that.

What really bothers me is beyond the fact that I believe that she's been unfairly scapegoated and villified, it seems that the world is ready to kick her when she's down after her defenses are gone and her losses. I find most of what she's accused of to be quite trivial, if not very hard to believe.

I'm not insisting that everyone agree with me but it's something to think about. I come from the bottom and it's easy to stereotype someone who is not but I've been mulling this over and I just wanted to say speak my mind and have said my peace.

Feel free to comment. Agree or disagree.

I'm just trying to beat out a rough synopsis, real time:

An island for gifted or extraordinary animals. Maybe there is a school for training familiars for wizardly types of people. A drop off point for 'sacred' animals with no place to go. Maybe it would be cooler to have as little human interaction as possible? Maybe some of the animals are capable of (at least ) limited speech or telepathy..empathy..

Just thought something like that might be cool but since you're here..wazZah? XD

I played with some animated stick figure styles last year. I had seen enough stick styles the past few years that I wanted to try my hand at it. I liked a few I had seen before such as Cyanide and Happyness, Order of the Stick, a few others and some south park. XD

What I ended up doing with it, that I liked the most, is laying the character's limbs down in 2 different stick layers, using anime studio and just doubling the limbs in the bone. I originally did this to try and keep the arms and legs looking straight and stick like, when it's animated but what ended up happening, alot of the time, is the 'double-layered-stick-limbs' would get a slight flex from both sides..I thought it kinda gave the illusion of a stick figures muscle flexing somewhat naturally.

Originally, I started doing them, so I could also focus more on the facial expressions and body language, while keeping it quick and refreshing. I thought it could also keep me from getting too burned out while writing, editing and switching to sound. Just thought it would be nice to have a cool original animation, that could be cranked out quickly in weekly webisodes, should I feel like doing so.

I went with a sci-fi theme, about a fast food resturaunt on a neglected moonbase. I'm going to shred the scripts and synopses and rewrite them, because I'm not happy with what I did the first draft. This may take a while but I'm usually never in a rush..

fun stuff.
